Hi.

The rallying rules on my region restrain the available turbo options on a swift.

There is a class which is an under 2000cc class and 900kg minimum weight that can suit more or less a AWD turbo swift.

I have readed some of the good post in the forum about turboing the g13b but i have not found any info about the g10b crank strenght.

My thoughts are a g13b block/head, with g10b crank and longer rods to raise the RS ratio and stay below the 1176cc in turbo setup max displacement that the rules allow.

76mm pistons + 61mm crank give about 1100cc engine.

My main fear is the g10b crank strenght, given that this sort of engine should turn 9000+ rpm to give useable power and dont know if the stock g10b crank can cope with that.

Anyone knows?

Thanks for all, im so pleased to have the forum online again.

G10 is a 3 cylinder, G13 is a 4.
Dave Homer from DMW motorsport built a sub 2 litre turbo for a similar reason and there is a thread in here somewhere.

Yep sorry missed the 'b' part.
Popular engine in India.
Can't help re fitting of twin cam head.
But the G10b and G13 share similar architecture.
