You didnt find that near sydney did you? Cabrio imports was complying them initially, id heard 15 of them were brought in (back in 2005) excellent buy, its one of the only cultus models you can register in Any state in Australia Manual or cvt? When i left Nsw, the custom plates CULTUS were still available, would be most fitting on yours... Btw, if you bodykit it, id like to be first in line on offer to buy the rearbar Welcome to the forum

southy wrote: Please do not body kit it!! Much better seeing an original cultus! +1 Someone needs to keep one of these original. Hunt down some original hubcaps. A lot of the guys in the US can sort out vert (what they like to call them) parts, there are quite a few owners on that forum. Great find and welcome to the forum

What's the deal with that window guide/pad thingy? Does it stop the window flapping when rolling up/down? Can I get some for the GTi?

To get the horn out you press it in and turn/twist it, no need for screw drivers to get it out.

Great score there mate.
Not sure if this is any help but heaps of bolts were rusted in on mine (many still are) and I snapped a few trying to undo them. I found a tiny bit of grease or oil on the thread helps them not seize up if you're going to undo them again in twelve months or so. Wd40 or Rp7 also work.

It was a two person job for a lot of them, one person with pliers on sides of bolt the other with star Allen key, I replaced all old ones with stainless steel normal Allen key, and found that spraying wd40 in whole + tap and die set made it easier, shame I didn't do this on all of them but will definitely do it to all of them for the respray and will oil as suggested, just incase.
How did you go finding parts for yours
