Has anyone here fitted an LSD to their Suzuki Ignis Sport. Any reviews?

I'm based in Perth and looking to have an LSD fitted soon. Any recommendations as to where to get this done would be greatly appreciated. From my search on this forum, people are recommending Suzishop in Cannington, Perth.

Thanks.

No idea where to go in Australia, but Cusco sell them.

Suzishop might be a good place to start if they're local.

Just called Suzuki Shop at Beckenham, Perth today. They don't do lsd for the Ignis Sport, supply or fitting. Sigh

Try Brett, BD Motorsports. If SuzukiSport sell it, he can probably get it.

Hi Mate,

They are actually more of a wrecking yard that also does repairs, servicing etc... they tend to steer away from 'performance mods'. (They have heaps of good used parts available, but can be a little pricey at times as they appear to be quite well aware of the limited availability of second-hand Suzuki parts in WA! #-o )

As YLD80Y mentioned, definitely get hold of Brett (member Hertz) here in Perth if you are looking for something in particular as I do believe he is both a Cusco and SuzukiSport agent and could probably sort you out fairly easily!

As for fitting, I would highly recommend ADTS in Osborne Park. He (Rob) has rebuilt gearboxes and fitted LSD's for a couple of us on this forum now (including me) with good results! =D> See previous topic:

Thread revival? But hey, while we're on the subject:

Although they are really nice people, here is my definition of 'a little pricey'... its what I've actually paid there in the past (and always cash-in-hand too):

$220.00 for a second-hand reasonable condition bonnet (exchange for my bent one).
$80.00 for a second-hand o.k condition gear shift surround plus boot.
$45.00 for a second-hand fan speed controller resistor block.
$110.00 for a second-hand rear parcel shelf (good condition with no holes though, to be fair!).

Verbally quoted $140.00 for a single GTi foglight...
Verbally quoted $1200.00 for a complete G13B engine...

A little pricey anyone...? :?

(And a big, big thanks to all the fellow Redliners I've dealt with since for parts!)

I think wreckers in general are 'a little pricey'. Not to go too far off topic, but before forums were as prolific as they are today and enthusiasts had an easy way to trade/sell parts, paying these kinds of prices were the norm (unless you joined face to face car clubs, went to swap meets etc.).

I paid $250 for a set of MK3 rear lights from a wrecker and thought I got a good deal. Cutting out all the people in between trying to make money (and costs for running a business that need to be covered) is where the real savings are with buying off people on here and other forums.

Hijack over ;)
