I placed an order for the SS suspension & strut brace for my car last week
They've just come back to me advising that most of the IS parts are no longer made
Has anyone bought any SS parts for their cars in the last few months?

Unfortunately,
1. Part Number 751560 4350 Strut Tower Bar
2. Part Number 510500 4350 Suspension set
Above both parts production stopped already.

If you still interesting 895140 0000 Suzuki Sport Racing Sticker,
we will quote you as soon as possible.

With best regards,

Jun Nakamura SUZUKI Sport

I might send Mayama an email direct

Hi! You may use the following parts instead.

Strut Tower Bar for IS Made by OMP: Part Number: OMPMA1893

Witeline Springs F:73249 R:73250

G4 RACING COILOVERS TO SUIT SUZUKI IGNIS 1.5 AUD:$1399

I am not sure if those parts work better than Suzuki sport or not. If any one got them on the I.S. I will be appreciated for any feedback.

I'm after a strut brace myself, having problems finding it (why can't more people drive IS?)

Can anyone can source a strut, that will be great!

It's a real shame. I've also heard of problems and it was hard to get some parts recently.

Though it is disappointing I have been half expecting this. I think the suzukisport parts business is driven by sales in Japan and for them a 4 year old car is ancient history!

Well also considering that IS wasn't a very popular car to start off with!

although, the pod filter kit and air intake for the swift sport should fit fine. I pulled a new swift apart along with my iggy s at work last week. The only difference being with swift and ignis, is the throttle cable on the swift is in a 90 degree bend alloy pipe, where as ignis s is all plastic, so it is routed a differnt way. I will also be getting the omp strut brace as i could not justify spending 100 dollrs more on the ss one. The omp one is adjustable as well ;)

Where are you getting the OMP strut from? And how much would it be?

HOw much different is the new Swift to the Ignis? As in everything. exhaust, engine bay etc.?

Eek! I was kinda hoping that the parts would be available in about 10 yaers time when I could afford them...

I'd imagine they're only discontinuing the stuff that only fits the HT81S chassis. I'd imagine that all the engine parts would be available for years to come, because the M15A is still in (very large) production.

Looks like most of the IS kit has been discontinued
Got an email back from oopart - no luck
Looks like they're concentrating on the Swift...

re: lord gaz. Omp strut brace on ebay, from the strutbracer. Just search for ignis sport, and go to international sellers. its about 190 with p and h included. will be getting one in 2 weeks. As for the swift and the iggy. Most things under the hood off a swift, should fit an iggy, as the ignis bonnet lines is higher, and they have the same m15a engine. (swift sport motor is a little different as its the 1.6). The swift perormance parts such as, the ss plug leads, the racing earth line, carbon plug cover will fit. clutch kit, flywheel and the limited slip diff might be compatible, but ill have to do some more disassembly to find out for sure.
