Im currently thinking about selling my starlet GTT for a newer car.

Its a great wee car, not one problem, few mods taking it close to the 200bhp mark.

Its also being prepped for a TD04l conversion as the Ct9a is running out of puff and potential. Hopefully taking the car close to 250bhp.

Its a good laugh, but im thinking about getting either an Ignis or an n/a supra, i know they are both very different ends of the spectrum.

But its just a couple of options i came up with when i was considering what to buy.

What do you guys think?

Stephen.

If you are looking for a newer car then the ignis is probably the way to go, but it does not have the balls of either your starlet or of the supra

Dave has developed a turbo setup for his new swift so we should be seeing a turbo setup for the ignis soon if you want that sort of power

Thanks for the reply lad.

Aye a know its never going to have the power of the Starlet but its just to be used for commuting and a wee bitta travelling up North.

I went ahead and bought myself an '04 Ignis Sport with 6.5k miles on the clock. Was pleasently surprised during the test drive at how nippy it was when the revs got going.

With a long hard look over the finances ive decided to keep the starlet, the TD04 conversion will have to be slowed down a little bit, but i just couldnt part with her.

What kinda top-end have people achieved in the ignis?

Stephen.

Are you talking about speed or power?

Keigo probably holds both titles, but DMWDave has a turbo swift running the same engine (he's the only one to turbo it as far as I know).

the only turbo m15a, emmm...... i perfer mine NA. my i just find out it is very hard to take the engine head out out of the small space... haven't done ite yet, thinking about port polish, but after i read the articles from fast four, i gave it up. ONLY 4KW increase man, that is not enough when u consider the cost of port polishing and taking the head out plus the number of day with out a car... and suzukisport haven't contacted me back, there is so many part i want but they don't seem to reply

Talking about speed sir, we talking somewhere around the 190km/h mark for your average ignis sport?
