How many of us are left out there?
From the original group of owners from 2003, there doesn't seem to be many of us left? What other cars have ppl moved onto?
I've still got my silver Iggy, albeit with a few mods carried out over the years Can't really afford to upgrade to anything I like (a RenaultSport Clio 182 would be nice!)
But my Iggy has served me really well 117,000 Kms & still going strong No issues apart from regular servicing, still on the original brake pads & clutch
If there are any Melb IS owners out there, it would be great if we can organise a meet & greet
Cheers Vuka

I wasn't an owner in 2003 but had a black IS in NSW from 2005-2009, sold to 'Paul' on here when we left Aus. I'm back in the UK since 2009 but still with an IS ... in fact 2 now. Blue (since 2009) and Silver, bought last year because it was a good car going very cheap near my mum's. I do some club motorsport events in them, lots of fun. No thoughts of changing as really there's nothing I want more, and I wouldn't take something shiny, new and expensive out on a sprint or 12 car event. But I do have a scruffy '92 Civic rally car and a 2006 Impreza shared with the missus. No big issues with the cars (touch wood) but they do get well serviced as well as used hard. Hope they keep going. I expect one day they'll wear out, or we just won't be able to get parts, or they'll be written off ... it doesn't take much when they are valued so low. But until then I have no wish to change.
I'm quite surprised that you're on original brake pads! Mine don't seem to last more than a couple of years.

Hi Pugman,
I bought your Cusco front strut brace from you before you left for the UK
My car's still on the original brake pads, but I don't drive my card hard, except when we go down to Lorne via the GOR or I go for a blast down the Mornington Peninsula
Must admit the Iggy Sport is pretty reliable Mines just ticked over 119K, still going strong
Good to hear from you again...

I'm still around sometimes don't post much anymore. Still have my iggy since 2005. took it off the road a while ago it had 22x xxx km on speedo. Now in process of fitting m18a liana eng and gearbox with turbo, building custom eng mounts currently. some pics on facebook page.
never had any problems with my iggy apart from general service stuff.
I spend more time on facebook page: Suzuki ignis sports owners page.

I still have one in the family, my missus is up to 238K I think. The thing seems bombproof - goes well, nothing seems to break..
They're not a genuinely comfortable daily but they're fun, reliable, and don't cost much to keep on the road - what more could you want?
I reckon they'd be awesome with the Liana 1.8..

Mine is nearly at 270XXX. A lot of things have gone wrong but it's still an awesome daily driver, so very reluctant to part with it, but I think it's time while it still drives.

I bought one a year ago. I always loved Ignis Sport but they are rare over here and I never really had a need for such a car. But last year one was for sale near me for 2k EUR and I got it just for fun. I use it every day for driving around town and an occasional blast on the local mountain roads. It is even more fun than I imagined

Hi Gang @Pugman, your old Ignis is still in my care but has not seen active duties in a few years which is a huge shame. Thoughts turn to getting it back into form and selling it due to non use but no action on that front - great car especially with the coilovers, strut brace and Advan Neova ad08s Good to know you're still enjoying your IS Paul

Hey how good is that? You need to get it and yourself out there.
Have to let me know if you’re selling. I don’t see how I could practically ship it over but I’d love to.

I have just bought a silver 2004 Ignis Sport with 182,000 km on it. Am just going to fix up the little things that are wrong with it and drive it on the weekends!

Hi! Here's my Ignis Sport. 2004 with 99000 km. It will be used as a daily car. For weekend I prefer Cultus & GSXR. Greetings from Poland!
