the resilience of the piston engine never ceases to amaze me. The fork at work has been running like a dog for some time now, and the boss deemed today the day it gets returned to its former glory. We start it up, and it begins to kick over, all while chugging and spluttering, coughing out water and shards of metal from the exhaust. Then, we pull off the head to inspect the head gasket. As we loosen it off, about half a litre of orange water riddled with oxidation begins pissing out from the seals around the head.. Gasket is fucked. After siphoning the remaining water from the engine, We replaced the old head with a corolla head, started her up and she runs like a beaut! They certainly don't make engines like this anymore!

V8's are way better...like an inline 4 but better...
