Well test drove the non turbo KIA Koup version yesterday. It is a magnificent car, comparable to other Euro style cars like Honda/VW in build and ride quality. I remember a few years ago people were saying the same thing about Hyundai, but after driving an i30 I thought they were talking rubbish. Well seriously, I could not fault the KIA Koup, it's an incredible car for the money. Even the interior and stereo system crap all over Toyotas.

The only thing worth complaining about is performance, it's only as quick as my Ignis with 129kw and 209NM of torque. Which is good for class, but not going to beat a turbo'd car.

Being a single dad I think I may just have to compromise a little on performance for reliability and cost. It's as good as the Honda Accord VTi which was way outside my price range, and half the price. Perfect family car me thinks..

Test drove the turbo yesterday, completely different car it's fanbloodytastic! Buying one for sure. Great upgrade from the Ignis. Plenty of turbo power, nice engine note, very responsive, only thing I could fault were the brakes not as good as my Ignis which stops on a dime. But it's still fine, just a heavier car.

Looking at picking one up under 20K it's a real gem of a car and absolute steal at this price.

Picked up a used 2016 Kia Koup Turbo today. $21,000 from a Holden dealer at Gosford. Drove her home tonight. Amazing car for the price. Maybe not as great a drive as an mx5 or WRX, but it has everything I could want and goes like the clapper. Looking forward to running it in on a few country roads soon

Pitty Suzuki has stopped making performance cars.
