I searched for a bit, but didn't come up with anything for the torque for using the ARP 201-5002 BMW main stud kit. The ARP slip that the kit came with is for 60 ft lbs for the BMW application. I'm pretty sure the BMW block is aluminum also. I know the FSM lists our mains at a max of 41 ft lbs, and I have seen the recommendation of 55 ft lbs for using ARP head studs with the ARP moly grease. What are you guys torquing these ARP main studs at with the ARP moly grease?

All I can find here is that 140nm is double the standard ARP studs for a normal GTi engine. So I would hypothesize that 55nm with molylube is good enough.

DMWDave built my engine. He recommended 52ftlbs with the ARP studs
