Sorry to hear how long this is going on mate. Hope for your sanity's sake this is the last round of fixes.

Yeah me too, I just want it back now, lol, just so i can run 8psi atleast, even at that i would be happy if its reliable but i wanted this engine so i could run about 16psi, we shall see though- im not even excited anymore im just over it, if i get it back within the next month ill be happy seen though it hasnt been driven properly in the last 7 months,

GTAYE i think this is about the 4th time its been stripped down 3rd since ive owned it, so once every 4-5 months

Hey guys,

Dave was pretty much correct with this one, there is a crack that basically runs the whole way around the block, right at the bottom on the water jacket, and into the oil, being that the oil pressure is higher than the water pressure the oil has been pushing into the water.

so therefore that was why there is oil in the water but no water in the oil, and why the engine was pretty much running fine until it over heated

Engine will be getting a new block as soon as i can find one for a reasonable price and getting rebuilt with all the same specs as before

found a block, bought a cino engine( Thanx Fake-swift) using the block from this and it will have: Vitara pistons, shot peened closed and honed rods, block gaurd, new bearings, oil pump, ARP head studs, all gaskits, done to it

So seems like 2 weeks hopefully and ill have it back and fingers crossed all should be good then all it will need is a bit of dyno time before and after ive ran it in and should be able to put down some decent numbers

As suggested last year I'd look at o-ringing if you want to run 20PSI+ that you were talking about.
