I have a 1990 GTi with lowered King Springs all round.
Recently, I had attached a front and rear lip and whilst carrying four pax, I heard a loud rubbing sound in the rear. As, I thought this may have been the cause, I took steps for the rear to be trimmed.
This was good for a short time, but has occurred again and on investigation I note the right wheel arch is about 590mm from ground height, while the left is only 470mm.
Now, I'm curious whether this could either be spring sag, or the shocks, as no fluid leak has been seen.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
