Can anyone help by providing a pic of the pigtail or know what wires go to the ignitor. i have a swap with a cut harness and dont know what OC, G and IB connect to on the ignitor. i have wiring diagrams so i know one is ground, one goes to the distrubutor and one goes to the ecu.

Photos taken from workshop manual, other markets meaning not for europe, england or west germany according to the headings. You will have to stitch them together on a pc. The app on my phone got it wrong.

Thanks. But the problem I am having is

Brown goes to? OC,G or IB?

Black / white goes to?

Brown white goes to?

The diagrams do not specify the pins on the ignition module itself.
Can assume "G" is ground IG is input and OC is output but I do not like to assume and burn up an ECU it took me 6 months to find.
I do not have the original pigtail.

Have spark! Used the info to help diagnose on this page below.

https://fixkick.com/no-spark

So yeah IB is input G ground and OC is out put to coil.

So pin a12 to IB

OC to Brown/white

Well gave it a rest for awhile and came back. I do not know why this engine won't start. No injector pulse what ever I do. I am getting a code 33 and have tested the maf. Voltage on the vout is 2.5v while just key on.

Anyway the engine should still run with a bad or disconnected maf right?

I can leave the diagnostic terminal connected and can get a code 12 by cycling the key. Still no injector pulse.

I heard somewhere if the alternator isn't hooked up the engine won't start is that true?

I had to build my own harness from scratch so I have no idea how the alternator connects into the ECU wiring to even consider that. It's not on any diagram I have.

Any auto sparky or anyone ever mess with a swap before? I have plenty of spark and will run on ether.
