I have googled and cant find any info, surely someone here will know.

Can you use an alto ecu for F6A [660cc] with JA11 jimny with same engine but older?

Will it be any improvement?

I do not know specifically however using a newer ecu on an older engine I would not expect to be any "improvement" to the engine performance.

You would also need to check that the harness is all the same as the newer engine might have a few extra sensors that the older engine does not.

Assuming the engines are the same (i.e: both single cam) then the ECUs will be close, if not identical.
All ECUs have a code on them, so you can check if it matches the existing unit. There are differences between A/T and M/T ECUs for the F series, but I don't know if that affects functionality.
