Trying to get my sons car going again after new engine dropped a valve. Chasing a new head in WTB section and also i need to know if I can use a Sierra G13b piston in a gti block, or are they different..He spent all his budget on the gti conversion which lasted less than a week so we need to just get him back on the road...Any advise or leads much appreciated...

Pistons are different compression ratio, one is flat top and other is dished.

Why dont they just call it "Womenapause" instead.

Hi L ....We have met when you lived near Dayboro.. I was trying to contact you a few weeks ago re this engine but i believe you have moved.. My sons and i came out a few years back and you help tune his Gti .. Yes I realized late last night that the pistons would be different because of the 4 ports in each.. I may have a lead on a replacement head and possibly a piston..

Pistons are different for the same reason - 4 fly cuts vs 2.
