I'm hoping for someone to shed some light on a frustrating problem.

I have a 1999 Carry van with a stock standard G13BB engine.

It idles smoothly, but between 2000 & 3000 rpm the engine
seems to momentarily hesitate for a split second. If I rev beyond
3000rpm it's fine again on a flat road, but will momentarily hesitate
again if there is an incline.

It could also be sucking in air somewhere which will seem erroneous as it can be additional fuel or vacuum which affects the first.stuttering. I would start on the TPS calibration
