Nice numbers Dan, the turbo manifolds not even glowing red!!,just shows how restrictive the vf22 and Gcg turbos were.

And the map no longer lolly pops like the old vf22 as well. It would have made more power but I did not want to rev over 8000 the power was still climbing

I was on the understanding in a fwd there was a 25% loss through the drive train and tyres. Which is 419.2 hp at the fly. I don't really know the correct losses just what i was told and read never tested with an engine dyno compared to a rolling road.

And thanks for the comments and congratulations guys I tried to have this power for hatch attack last year but clutch let go.

I'm calculating 20%, it will vary from dyno to dyno, rolling roads are wildly variable at the best of times.

My old Datsun put out 130bhp on Tony Marshes engine dyno many years ago, once it was in the car I took it to a reputable dyno shop and it put out 103 on the rollers, that works out 26%, a modern fwd car is way more efficient than a 70's rwd car, I'm sure everybody has there own thoughts or experience on how they interpret chassis to engine HP

Either way it makes no difference if it's 399 or 420, it's still a VERY big number from a 1.3L engine and as you yourself say :D

Awesome! My respect for you for being open about your build... unfortunately most of the time people share less and less as they move up in the ladder :(.
Anyway I noticed you upgraded the rods and main caps... could you tell me at what HP levels those parts need to be upgraded?

Thanks

Highest on stock rods any one has gone was on my spare engine in recent times was 260hp , Itsmad said they did 300 hp 20years ago

As for stock main caps i don't know how high. 260hp is the highest i have gone.
