Hi Murf. I’m breaking up a parts gti soon. I use the rear calipers still on our track car but if they give one day up I’ll probably put small willwoods on so I might sell off the parts cars rear calipers. It’s a 92 gti. I come up to Los Angeles quite regularly for work. So it’s not hard cheers Glenn. P.s. welcome to redline.

Will the Willwoods you mentioned swap out for the stock units? If so, what is needed to swap them out? I am looking to upgrade my brakes.

No idea as yet. Everything I do on the swift track car is generally a mod so have not looked into it yet murf. So far it’s been low on priority because most of the stopping on the track car comes from the front of the car. Very experienced guys here that used to run the mark twos it their heyday said just don’t worry about the rear brakes....in fact we have a proportioning valve to reduce rear brakes. I’d only fit wilwoods when I’m ready to ditch the handbrake. We will still have an emergency brake but it will be through the hydraulic system.
