It started in 2013 by Jerry for me but there are many photos which is not mine.
So I would like to start again if admin don't mind.
This way I have control of photos in this build thread!

mk1 Body shell was in good condition but it needed TLC.
After I sold my first mk1 Gti, I managed to get hold of this car and asked Jerry to pick it up and convert it to AWD, as a joke. But he has built Mini estate with AWD running gear, he said yes.

Fast forward to 2017.
Jerry and his son Jimbo was working on my car but didn't see any results.
So I asked Andy aka Garndi to take over build of my car for me.

Over 2 years of salty air wasn't kind to my car's weld in roll cage.

Mean while my car is getting sorted, I was building my engine for it also.

cast in liner has been bored out and a CAD created block guard in machined and pressed in.
After using liquid Nitrogen, I managed to fit cast steel liners.

Also, I managed to get hold of a full block bracing plate. It is fitted with steel main straps and knife edged crank shaft.

It was time for my car to get sent to get race/rally sepc roll cage to be fitted.
So once again Andy did his business and ready to sent away.

Hi,

I'm hoping to get over 300+bhp at the flywheel.
It will have all of my built engine into it.

You will find it in turbo section with K-series liner.
So it will have 4mm thick steel liner, forged conrods, 76mm Vitara pistons, oil squirters, steel main caps and full engine bottom brace from Craig.

Also, I'm thinking of using this.
