Hi im thinking of buying this manifold with turbo kit from ebay that fits a gti but i have a g13b 8v gs model, does this fit?

And another question Does the head and top of a g16b from a vitara fit a g13b 8v of a swift? and is it better in performance or not?

At the moment i have a lightened flywheel and a lowered head on my g13b 8v

Thanks

Manifold wont fit 8V head without modification. its all different.
I think the vitara head does fit as the twin cam head fits the 1.6 block. but you'll need different pistons as the vitara is a 16V, unless you mean the 8V then why bother.
Turbo is your best bet in my opinion if you must keep the 8V SOHC. Bang for your buck is GTi motor...then turbo it!

The problem is it is really rare to find a gti motor, I am from Malta and I have been searching for a gti motor for 5 years but nothing :(

What i want is a bit more power but there are no turbo manifolds kit for the 8v model.

Manifold is the easy bit really.
A log style manifold would be cheap and the basis of a substantial upgrade.

Being on a really small island in the middle of the Mediterranean, I am not surprised that you have not found anything. If you want it, you will need to import it yourself. Import a half cut Gti from somewhere and do the engine swap.

If you want to turbo, you will most likely need to have the manifold made, either find another and cut it up or use your current one.

Probably a re-jet of the carb, port the head, better headers and a decent tune will get the ol' 8v running sweetly. There is only so much you can do to get it performing better. Weight reduction is also a good place to start. Get rid of any excess weight, including in the driver :p

Good luck with your adventure!

If your looking for the exhaust flange I believe the guy in the link below is still getting flanges cut possibly for the 8v and shipping them out for next to nothing. I am not sure what/if he would ship to Malta. You could then buy the right flange for what ever turbo you have and fabricate the rest.
