more wasted time #-o
had to find out what wires did what on the alfa thottle sensor .
contacted haltech and was told to look for the alfa pinout or contact bosch with the product code or nut it out with a multi meter .
went on line and was getting nowhere
tried the nut-out option and i worked out the two signal wires and found either the 5v or earth wire groups.
joined the alfa romeo forum to get more info. and found a member which asked the same question. and he found a audi sensor pinout with the same bosch product code .
checked and compared to my results and it looks right.

only took 2 days #-o

thanks psigti, but my build is a joke compared to your build .
And i have a joke , who puts a head gasket upside down ? answer - me!
after wiring up all the oem wiring , i wanted to test the starter motor and to make sure all the oil was circulating round the engine ,turbo, head etc. so i used a garden pressure bottle on it and found no oil getting to head , put oil pressure to the oil gallery on the head and got no pressure to the block .
compared a head gasket to bit of gasket coming out on edge of head to comfirm it . #-o and swearing.
good thing i pick it up , could of ruined a head on start up.

thanks answer, but it is a bit embarrassing  and it cost me .
just in,a $270 mutli-layed head gasket #-o ,pretty sure i payed $140 last time.
got a hold of the dealer to make sure it was the right gasket , and told him my hard luck story .
he said his qualified mechanic built an engine ,put the head gasket wrong way up and the customer fitted it into the car and on start up ruined the top end, cost the dealer big time.

Atleast you picked up on it..

I fitted the clutch plate backwards to my GTi and drove around on it, hit the dyno multiple times and even hillclimbed it. Not sure how the hell it held up..

Keep up the great work on the build!
