Some of these photos were put on Facebook; then shared by currently over 700 other pages; including WTAC's page. This resulted in 100's of comments and well over 150,000 views.
Goes to show there is a lot of interest in Luke's design. I'm sure he is now drowning in requests and technical questions. (he secretly loves this)

As the block was coming together it was time to source parts.

A great collection was gathered; as some orginal suzuki parts were also dispersed to have modifications completed.

The G13b crank was sent out to Auscranks for initial cleaning; testing and a small amount of lightening

This was then returned to Cave Hill Engines for more lightening; and then off to Pure Performance Motorsport to be Isotropic Superfinished.

Good to see you incorporated a Knock Sensor Boss in the design. Cannot see the Dry Sump.

Speaking of sumps; i took in a factory G16 sump to be modified.

Simply provided Australian Specialty Racecraft some measurements and exactly how i needed the sump to perform.

The result was amazing; much more capacity; and much more oil control.
Of course down the track this will be replaced with a dry sump system; this however was well worth the investment.

of all the performance parts this is the best...or the start of 8)

Bewitched provided a .8kw gear reduction starter from a Suzuki Baleno.
1.3 kilos lighter, less power draw with more cranking torque.
SRS bit of starting gear =P~

=D> continuation of block work.

Countless hours of work by Luke; after hours and on weekends really proves his dedication to the 3 blocks that were built

The block continued to evolve - Yes Luke called his creation HPPROOF (a very fitting name)
I dubbed SRSGTI's version the G13B Evolution.

Some old SRS gear needed a spruce up; so these were sent to Ceramic coating and painting.

At this stage; the bare block was complete.

Luke had performed magic; so really the torched was passed to Stu at Cave Hill Engine Services.
http://www.cavehillengines.com.au/

It was at this stage that Stu first layed eyes on the illustrious project; the Head had been at Cave Hill engines for some time; being slowly massaged into an heavy breathing peice of kit; but now seeing the block i think he understood how SRS the build was.

Stu had concerns; idea being to use the Worthy created girdle with matching caps.
I think the concept of the girdle and caps really inspired the rest of the build; so to give credit to Worthy for stepping out of the comfort zone and creating these is needed.

After discussions with Stu; and a phone call to Luke; plans were made to step the bottom end up even more. To add pressure to the whole situation, World Time Attack entry was fast approaching.
Believe it or not; not only was a CAD design created; but end product was completed in just over 2 weeks. the results are absolutely outstanding; and to have Luke jump onboard with a solution and the attitude to do it was mind blowing.

The results speak for themselves; and pictures do not do this justice.

knowing the the factory Cultus gearset may not last 1 more lap...or dyno pull it was time to advance in that area. no point having a solid engine and a glass box!
Aside from hilarious skids at Zuboo's Hatch Attack this box had held up with years of punishment; and although not giving up yet; i had the timeframe to get a gearset custom made from SQS.
(had the timeframe...in theory; believe me i was actually losing hope of this arriving in time)

securing a photographer for WTAC wasnt something i thought of at first; but remebering the 2014 event and being thankfull the photo's were taken. I made sure some more would be done for this event.

Gasolina Fotographica has jumped on board to provide some shot for WTAC 2016
Matt is very talented at what he does; and i cant wait to see some great shots
