I guess its a big motor build now...

No problem

We have all been racing long enough we know what its like, which is why we hang back unless asked but we are always willing to help or advise if asked.

With the classes i looked long and hard at this 6 months ago and club sprint is the class where it is still winnable with out much competition or $$$$. Its a smart choice and i would modify my car to run that class if entering.

Pro - Has Andrew Brilliant which is the other weak Fwd class but do you really want to run with pro cars 1.37
ProAM - Has mighty mouse which is a no go. 1.31
Open - Has BYP racing which is a no go. 1.31
Clubsprint - One colt running 1.47 which looks the best chance of winning per $$$$ spent.

And for winning outright class i think the AWDs have won that long ago.

^ he is actually a great bloke and we talked a lot during the weekend, was good to know he only only reason he pushed hard on that last session was because of me.

it made him 2 secs quicker than his last years result, which is fantastic! but he will need to be another 2 secs quicker next year.
As most of you will be aware you cant just enter into WTAC it goes to a selection board, and hopefully this little rivalry we have might push the organizers to run us both again next year.

#-o I was just drooling over your car and I spied CF vents and Ti bolts (I'm starting to forget who I've supplied parts to)
So,thanks to you, parts I had a hand in have been to WTAC
 That Is F'''ing Awesome!
As the likelihood of me attending WTAC is improbable in the near future
If you need spares of my stuff, let me know (free of charge of course)
Keep up the good work Tom

Bit of a write up on clubsprint at WTAC pretty good read.

No progress at this stage enjoying a bit of a break before next year.

Thread hasn’t had a real update in 2 years.

Although there had been some progress; we all know things happen in life that sometimes outweigh hobbies,

With the Iron Ore price fluctuating and then finally taking a massive stumble; the continuation of owning a race car seemed improbable in early 2015. With job cuts throughout all major companies it did bring to light that maybe it was time to put some money aside instead of hilariously flushing it down the drain on a monthly basis.

I made the decision to go from a hard out quick timeline rebuild; to a more sensible paced build whilst playing it safe for the period. That would mean not competing at WTAC 2015 which was a huge disappointment.

Pretty much felt like the below:

The next couple of months should be pretty exciting. Some of you are on social media and may have seen what is happening; there are always builds going on in the shadows. Some will more than likely stay that way; hopefully others come out for a shine.

I guess its right here where the 2.0 build begins….

One thing i have noticed is after the BYP Honda taking the piss out of the club sprint factory guard rule last year everyone is doing the same and running massive tyres by moving the guards out on spacers and running race tape to block the front gap in the guard. At the 2016 Qld Time attack round most of the cars that head down to sydney running in the club sprint class are now running the same type of tyre guard combo.

Just an heads up mate the guard rule seems to mean s**t and everyone is doing the same. Start looking for some 295 tyres
