Nothing special, made a oil catch tank nothing fancy though It has the filter connection missing in this picture, welded this later. Also started on my new stainless exhaust 3" from turbo to 2x 2.25" over the rear subframe to accomodate a full flat bottom. Also dipped my wheels red That's it for now, building my new engine at the moment.

Its inside the car in the 'boot'. Not ideally placed, but will do for now.

Devil-GTi wrote: I'm thinking of airdamming the front to the splitter.. Not to sure if it yet, because i want good mechanical grip before i really start messing with aerodynamics. Looking good so far When you do start tuning the aero, perhaps consider trialling closing off the grille slot, my experience with it is it reduces drag by directing more flow over the car, and for cooling concerns take the air pickup from where the foglights would normally be and use a shroud to direct it into the radiator. As youve already vented the bonnet it should flow through radiator core and over the windscreen quite nicely. Cheers for the pics

Hahaha yes i know what i said, it's just that now i have bought a house and i dont have much time and money for the car right now, and i had a few alu sheets laying around so i thought, why not. Nice distraction from renovating the house.

I would also consider moving the radiator from the rear above the wing, as that would upset air flow.

Well, bottom end is waiting for a cilinderhead, but no time and money for that now as i'm renovating my house. Gotta set priorities, but when house is done, car will be brought there so i can work on it some more Have done some little things, like making a hoodpins in rear bumper for a quick and easy on/off. Have painted a fender to see if i like the color.. But not entirely sure about the color..
