Swift mk1 Gti:

Hello, hope admins will not remove this post.

Heart is broken but the time is coming when i am starting to think about wrecking my loved gti mk1 in very good condition and low mileage.

So the big question for big dessision:
Would anyone need some parts from it?

I guess i would sale everything what you need.
Swift is in Europe, Lithuania
Shipping would be worldwide on buyers cost.

I want to hear your mind or maybe an offer before making a dessision.

That is a shame. Why is it going to scrap?

= It is in Lithuania for about 18 years. And during that time it saw only about 1000km of roads. Spent life in garage, so i guess thats why
And i want to start using my garage for other things like repairing my daily car or holding ATV in it

Maybe sell the car as a whole if it is in good condition. Someone might want to import it?

I think that i could not get much and it woud be a lot of problems to export it. Sell it for parts would be easier job.
But i want to know if anybody needs anything before making any desisions

This is an unfortunate situation which is common to Mk1 owners - and the reason why there aren't very many of them left intact.
It's disappointing to hear when a complete, running car is to be pulled apart and another one disappears forever.
I consider myself extremely fortunate to be the custodian of such a car, although mine doesn't look nearly as tidy as this one. It could easily be parted out for quite a bit more than if it were to be sold "complete" to someone who appreciates the scarcity of the rarest of the GTi's...

Tank is in very good condition as i remember it 4-5years ago, but i guess i would cost million to ship to canada, because of its size

I'd buy some parts also, just restoring my Swift GTi mk1 and need a lot of small things, like radiator grill, fuses block cover, door seals, mirror inside panels, rear lights, spoiler, engine belt protection and even transmission :D i live in Ukraine so i guess there are some ways of cheap shipping.
