Item Description:
Out of my mark 2. But I'm not sure if it's the original one. I think it is. It has an F6 on it and it has been chipped with a group A chip. Runs perfect. No longer needed as I have bought a link to help in other areas like gear shift control.

Price:

$175 nzd.

Hi Mate,

F6 is a Cultus GTi ECU and therefore should also have the knock sensor circuitry on pin A15 that no others except for Cultus GTi I4 ECU's have.

A nice little extra selling point there.

(If mine was a Mk.2 I'd take it in an instant)

Free bump and good luck with the sale!

Cheers,

Drew

Thanks Drelvisgti. It's definately an F6 ECU but does the group A chip turn anything off? Or just change the map. Only reason I ask is that when setting the base timing with that ecu I could not jump the pins under the bonnet to get it into the fixed timing mode.
Either way it's a great running ecu that is better suited to a car without the engine mods like mine. (Unless the chip was tweaked a bit )
It ran hard....just a bit rich at idle with our cams.....made it a biarch around the pits.

Hi,

Great question! Unfortunately it is not one I can answer with complete certainty. I would reasonably think that it should not affect anything else as it's only an EEPROM chip with a fuelling map written into it (?)

Maybe post this question up in Swift Technical section and look out for answers from members 'gtaye' or 'Rhinoman' who both seem to know their s**t regarding Suzuki ECU's.

Cheers,

Drew
