Additional info:

Test fit with my mk2 bumper today. The bottom area is very similar. Here some picture for reference. This is fiberglass set, so the lip is quite flexible and you can still bend it and rivet to suit the bumper

Hi Strider,
I quite liked the look and feel of this product, but was not too happy with the rear.
Are you able or intend to release one in the same quality as this?

Hi Strider,

Haven't heard from you for a while & am uncertain whether you received my last PM.
It's been a long time coming and almost a year since payment, but am still awaiting the arrival of the front & rear lips I purchased last September!

Regards.

To date I have received no further correspondence since your email regarding the product I purchased from you, near on a year ago.
To be honest I’m beginning to feel I’ve been ripped off & in need of a refund.
Should said items not have arrived by the end of July 2016, I’m going to have to do just that.
Please advise your intent.

Well, it’s July, with only 27 days remaining until month’s end.
Any word whether the lips have been shipped, or am I wasting my time?

Email sent.

Such shame when people carry on like this. I'd probably buy one if it was all positive replies but I think I'll pass.

I did previously purchase a front lip of good quality plastic/fibre (2 piece), but a rear I bought (also 2 piece) was only fibre & despite the price the quality was nothing like the front.
After a number of enquiries, he offered to sell me originals from his vehicle, of which he sent photos, so I agreed.
As long as they were intact I was happy to pay the extra freight, which I did, but alas nothing to date!

Further to my previous and just to let any potential customers know, no items have since been received
I suggest forumeers buy with caution as one can never tell whether a seller is going to be either legit or a rip off.
Suffice to say that unless something does turn up, which after a year I doubt, I guess I will have to assume the latter.
Good luck to all!

4 years after buying weather shields I'm still waiting for them to arrive (was lucky enough to get a refund thank f**k as it was 5 sets plus postage and I had to pay my customers back in full)very good mate of mine has been waiting 6 years for his blue hose kit that he paid for in full and never received a reply or a refund

The list goes on with strider ...

Yes, it is a pity when some take advantage of others without any consideration of their consequences.
Not only am I out of pocket, but none the better off for what I wanted and paid for.

Not sure what you expect an admin to do in this situation.

It is a public forum, registrations can't be verified nor the people seller their wares.

True, but keeping an eye on such products being displayed may draw some scrutiny.
Anyways, all done I suppose, so won't go on...for now!

I've never had an issue with Strider and have these on my car. He may still have a few to sell.
Back in the game! Now building something mental... Will I ever finish? I hope so! When? No idea.

Sorry to say this, but after paying for a set of original front and rear Mk3 lips, including shipping, Strider failed to supply, costing me money I could ill afford.
This is despite hollow reassurances of delivery.

be careful. It is not the first time he does. I bought a set of shock absorbers and never sent them. He doesn't send me the money either.
