I have a GTI for a few reasons. The main one is because commonfalcons are like bellybuttons....everyone has one.

Went searching for these just to check the price of the calipers. And took a while to find but here are the details for anyone that is interested:

Black : $269.94
Part number: 120-7376
http://www.wilwood.com/Calipers/Caliper ... o=120-7376

Red : $359.94
Part number: 120-7376-RD
http://www.wilwood.com/Calipers/Caliper ... 20-7376-RD

Couldn't find them with the BU infront of the part number that Garndi supplied.

I am fairly certain that those prices are in US as I took them straight from http://www.wilwood.com

I buy them in the UK from this place, but I am sure that you can source them in Australia, Save postage...

They stop really well with the standard master cylinder.

Not sure, If the Standard Swift GTi Callipers fit the Baleno? then yes, but your PCD is different 4x100 so the Honda disc's won't fit, However pretty sure that you can buy the same size disc's in 4x100.

Not sure I need all the bits in front of me to get the weight for the shipping quote. As the disc's are heavy it won't be cheap coming from the UK. Your better off to source the disc's locally.

DBA4474 SL/SR

4000 series are overkill for a street only car, just go for DBA474 SL/SR

Hey Mate,

The Wilwood Midilite Callipers VIA the UK (Rally Design) are £139.50GBP each.

That = $480AUD for the pair.

I don't have a set of callipers at hand to get the weight for the postage (Unless I take them off a car...). Going off volume metric weight I would say that the postage would be between $60AUD - $80AUD (express air mail).

It may be better price wise to get them local from an Australian Wilwood distributor....

Cheers

Sure can, as I am buying only a few at a time the price is $140AUD posted.

If you can get 5 or more people ready for a bulk order the CNC machine shop will lower their overal price and you guys can save some cash  .

Nice one on the Disc's!.

Just need to find an Australian distributor for the Wilwood Midilite Calliper so you guys don't have to worry about postage costs....

What do you expect? it's a radiator being sent via courier from the US.

I have bought a lots of gear from summit, have had no problems at all and the prices have been excellent even when including shipping.

For two Wilwood calipers:

Part Subtotal $499.90 USD
Additional Shipping Charge $122.99 USD
Delivery and Handling Charge $24.95 USD
Order Subtotal $647.84 USD

That is with DHL Priority, Surface mail was $40.00 USD cheaper.

That's $718.00 AUD landed for the pair, i'd take Garndi's offer if he can get them here for the price he is estimating (you would also save on postage of the brackets).

what does the pedal feel like? I'd expect with the larger piston area the pedal would feel a bit spongey

I doubt any Australian supplier is going to beat the Summit price.. all they are going to end up doing is bringing them in themselves and adding on mark up + GST.

So far no one has beaten $718.00AUD (pair) landed from Summit.

I have this conversion on my van & it is fantastic, pedal feel is really nice, it all feels well balanced, stops in a straight line too. This is a video below from Barkston, you can see how well they work, I have just bought them for my sons Justy too. This makes a HUGE difference to the stopping power.

Seen your PM and I am waiting on a price from RallyDesign....

However I doubt that by the time I order them and repost to you that they will be cheaper than you will get from Summitracing.

But I will get you a price.

Also, I am placing another order on Monday for the Brackets.

Here is a latest pic of an install..... Cheers GTiSlim

Called them today, gave them the part number BU -120 - 7376 and they said that they will do them £139each (did not seem to worry about not having them in stock). Thats 241.856 AUD per Calliper.

For people in the UK.... The total including Postage for x 2 Callipers = 338.99 GBP.

They also said that if you order 4 x Midilites the price is 117.00 GBP = 203.639 AUD per Calliper.

So that's the price on the Callipers from Rallydesign.co.uk. If your interested in getting these and want them 'via the UK', go direct to Rallydesign. I am only going to sell the Wilwood brackets to suit these Callipers as this will make the package more affordable (not double handling the items). I would also suggest paying the extra for express air postage and only have 2-4 days wait time....

Have a chat with Rallydesign...

Cheers

Hi Garndi, how much will it cost? I need 2 brackets. I will be using with dynalite 2 pot. Rotor will be 2 piece too. For my front, the rotors are 280mm diameter. So for the rear should be around 260mm.
