There has been a problem with my aluminium bulk order, the anodising wasnt presentable as hoped, so the batch has been sent to me in raw finish. This is good news for those that wanted raw ally, and it also means I can have small batches anodised in colours as requested: locally(such as blue) they will be in my stock inventory in a weeks time (after shipping)

Yes thats right, the 17mm bolts normally found in the centre of the stock gears, these are a substitute for them.

Id post pictures of these parts fitted to my own Gti and Rayven`s, but our camera is out of action :(

Purple and Gold M6 1mm thick alloy washers now available (new stock just in) $4.00 pack of 5

AND The Special Strutbolts have arrived, they are so light its ridiculous. Have fitted a set to my own GTi for road testing, now in stock!

yes i have... they are almost exactly 50% of the weight of the stock items... very good products and steve is awesome with his service, i have a few batches already and more coming soon

if the nuts where exactly the same size as stock ones it would be 55% of the weight of the stock ones but as these Ti ones are slightly bigger in size and have added nylock inserts to some of them it ends up being around 50% the weight of stock

 Motoboy, youre the 3rd person to ask me weight difference, each bolt is minimal, but it adds up over the total, more so if its unsprung weight or on a rotating part (like the camgear bolts) I will buy some detailled digital scales and do some comparisons for you.
The biggest weight loss is the strutbolts, not only are they half the weight (being titanium) but also they have a machined head (14mm instead of 17mm) and are centre drilled as well (making full use of the additional strength of Gr5 titanium)
If I post weight reductions, ill post them in kit form (listing a whole lefthand side front suspension kit for example, stock weight vs reducted weight)

*Kit price for strutbolts added to first page*

Was with bewitched for couple of hours this arvo. I have now hired him as a personal slave. Lol I got a set of titanium cam bolts, and he kitted out most of the engine bay and the rear hatch with alluminum bolts and nuts, also ordered a set of longer wheel studs..
Couldn't be happier with everything!!
Cheers again

First set of special camgear bolts was fitted to Southy`s engine (lucky git) these are a direct replacement and are even suited for use on stock gears (as shown in the picture)
Titanium exceeds most steel for strength, so just be sure to use the factory torque settings

Wheel studs are in the works, im just awaiting my stock sample to arrive for them to get accurate measurements, these will be a direct replacment and 42mm shank length. If thats too long for your use grant, I could see if I can get them cut down shorter.
Im not having batches made of stock length studs, these will be a plus two upgrade, 1: lighter 2: longer shank.
colours, well if I sell them in sets of 16, i can get them coloured as requested, so green, blue, gold, purple, natural, but id need a confirmed buyer before id deviate from blue or natural stock

 I think of a swift as an icecream container worth of bolts, and with titanium that weight is halved. I also think of all the bolt heads you can see on the interior panels (like the engine bay) the only place that barely benefits from pretty bolts is the outter bodywork, a bit like choc chips in a juicy cookie
mmm cookie :)
Seriously though, im glad you guys enjoy them as much as I do.

No problems Steve, that's just what I do if product I buy is good/bad etc and when unsure of things ask the seller. 8)

I use a product called ti prep on all my alloy & ti bolts, stops seizing, kind of works like lock tight helps hold torque, and is water proof. It's made by finish line I use it at work on pushbikes. Works great mite want to try it out
