Item Description:
Metric sizes of Aluminium nuts and bolts
Metric sizes of Titanium nuts and bolts
Washers to suit in Titanium and Aluminium
I have almost everything you could need for a Swift GTi =P~

Titanium is 55% the weight of steel (at equivalent strength)
Aluminium is half the strength of steel, but 40% lighter than titanium

Price per piece unless otherwise stated
Range: Far more affordable compared to Ebay ( I bought in bulk from manufacturers)

Contact Details:
Enquire here, or PM me if you have any comments or specific orders
Colours natural material unless otherwise listed

Usage details
Titanium and Aluminium have very different properties to conventional steel, based on my own road testing, i recommend that red loctite be used on all threads (titanium bolts or nuts) of areas that suffer from vibration (such as engine components and suspension) to ensure the titanium doesnt work itself loose over time,unless these are secured by nylock or spring washers.
On non structural areas (where aluminium can be utilised as an alternative also) use moly grease on the threads in these areas to prevent seizing or galling of the threads. Ensure that all bolts are done up to factory torque recommendations (as suggested for stock fasteners)

Very well, There are only a few specific fitments on our marques, these being certain thread types (usually 1.25tp) and certain thread diameters M4,M5,M6,M8,M10,M12,M14
bolts\studs have specific lengths, and I know all of these, plus i have alternatives available in titanium or (where its not critical to safety) aluminium.
M6=10mm
M8=12mm
M10=14mm
M12=17mm
M14=19mm
etc
As there are only a certain number of nuts used per each vehicle, its uneconomical for me to bulk buy such examples as M12 and M14 nuts, so I dont have a stack of kits labelled and ready to go (as you see with sports bikes) this is under development however (as ive done this before entirely with stainless)

with a metric thread tester, and set of vernier calipers.
Dont worry, ive done most of that sort of thing myself, and I have spare cars and engines to do R and D.
If I recommend a certain bolt for a certain part, then im assuring you ive tested it myself first.

One of these is handy

More product ordered, the blue colour seems quite popular. heres a sample of the colour of the new bolts and nuts.
How much interest is there for Ti wheelstuds (longer than standard gti of course) and I can get aluminium or titanium wheelnuts to suit 1.25tp (standard swift thread)

:lol: Is everyone waiting for a demonstration picture, or a comprehensive list of what bolt fitments are used per car component?
Ive had a lot of interest, but few orders. I have the M6 bolts in stock in plain titanium, and the M12 nuts flanged in plain titanium, I also have 14mm titanium spring washers, A batch of blue M6 bolts+12mm blue spring washers+blue M6 countersunk bolts+blue M12 nuts (flanged nylock)
which will arrive in 2 weeks, the nuts shown in the first picture and numerous plain alloy washers plus 12mm plain titanium washers.

I wont be getting anymore parts made until some of this stock is moved, next on the list was to have been the main suspension nuts (M14) plus the cam/gear flanged bolts, castellated nuts for front tierod steering arm ends and a full array of M10 bolts to do the major jobs like engine mounts.

If youre serious, let me know (this offer isnt long term) :) im still happy to take questions and discuss further

read his posts... he is awaiting arrival of more nuts and bolts..

a package for the interior is basically useless as there are only a few bolts visible.
as for an engine package i think Bewitched is going through sizes etc to see what goes where but its a long painstaking process.

I have to go through my MK3 engine bay tomorrow afternoon, I can go over the engine bay with the calipers and list all of the exposed nuts and a few of the exposed bolts if you like?
If any of my sizes are incorrect, we can correct them here :D

Price for a set of 16 Alloy wheelnuts ?
Price for a set of 16 Ti wheelnuts ?
I'd say price wont vary much between what you got/can get and if my needs are different.
And a pic if you have one please.

Ive only had a few people ask for wheelnuts so far, so im not commissioning a batch to be made until i know its worthwhile (id need 5 sets spoken for in advance) I can say i have a set of alloy wheelnuts that i bought to trial, drove 1500km with them on and all good so far.
To meet you halfway though, I will offer you links to places ive found some good quality ones (at decent prices) I can get them much cheaer than this if i have them made from scratch of course, but we`ll cross that bridge if we come to it
Alloy nuts: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 0401449229 these guys also stock longer wheelstuds (not Ti) at a decent price, go to sellers website ImportsPlanet if you need 12x1.5 nuts, or other colours (they even do green) the wheelnuts shown are only for use with a 19mm socket, so they arent suited to all wheels (they dont fit in my new mags for example) and i bought a 20 pack so i have spares
Titanium nuts: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MUTEKI-S ... 5d294aa324 not that cheap after shipping, but i find they would accept an offer of 85% of their asking price
If i were to have nuts made, id get the internal allen key type with 17mm O.D. so they would suit most aftermarket wheels. similar to this but made from Gr5 Titanium http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-TUNER- ... ccessories
hope this helps :)

A full package would cost a few hundred dollars, and the prices i have listed are already marked down in comparison to market price, so you cant expect a substantial discount for buying in bulk (as theyre already priced accordingly)
Whats wrong with buying a few at a time, make affordable purchses and accrue a full bay over time? I honestly believe im the only one crazy enough to buy a bays worth of nuts and bolts in one go :P Im happy to be proved wrong

Steve,

Need flanged nylocks for the inlet manifold, plus a few others when I work out what they are.

Managed to loose a few on the dyno as they rattled loose. :roll:

Nuts - M10, M12?
Are the alloy washers flat or concave as per pics ?
Can I get all the alloy in non-colour ?
Got flanged alloy nuts ?

you bought from this seller ? I have set of alloy, just need another set for another car.
Bewitched Gti wrote: Alloy nuts: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ...

Yes I have a set of wheelnuts from that supplier. they are 19mm socket fitment which means they dont suit my new wheels (so thats a drawback) but the quality of the item i can personally vouch for.
The reason i dont have other items listed is if they are a low demand item it isnt worth my time organising wholesale deals to get discounted rates (such as m10 or m12 ally) my current titanium pricing would be effectively more economical than buying premium ally in the same regard :| its all a matter of prospective interest.
If anyone is considering ally for its lighter than titanium property, consider (what ive done on my own vehicle) that centre drilling the bolts reduces them to similar weight and they still have superior thread and fatigue resistance (titanium vs ally)
-I can get both flat washers and (anodised) concave ones, what i have is bulk packs of plain ally flat washers or packs of 10 (anodised) concave washers.
-I have socket head ally bolts anodised in gold, i dont keep these in stock in plain ally.
-Specialist items like aquiring ally i dont already have, or titanium bolts i dont already have, will not happen until the bulk items get sold.

Any helpful buyer\prospective buyer feedback? What is it that has prevented sales so far

Premium ally nuts
All in gold, blue, purple or silver anodised
Ally M8 nuts, premium flanged with spring lock insert (12mm use) $4.60 each
Ally M10 nuts, premium flanged with spring lock insert (14mm use) $4.80 each
Ally M12 nuts, premium flanged with spring lock insert (17mm use) $5.00 each
I would need to sell at least 6 of each nut size to justify the price (as freight increases the cost otherwise)

Whats listed is whats available. :arrow: I wont gather any further items until i have some sales commitments made towards the bulk stock i already have. I can get anything needed, but despite enquiries for further items (which i dont have) i need sales.
Specialised bolts, and other items like m8 ally washers will not be in my listings until i have confirmation they will actually sell, im not a commercial retailler and the money tied up in the stock i have is my own.
:arrow: I will await sales a little longer then, but this is a limited offer, it either proceeds or I will retract the offer as unsuccessful. its that simple.
If anyone wants items i dont have listed, purchase some of the listed items and i will follow through with more stock production and specalised requests.

:) thats my offer, i hope this answers all queries so far

thanks for the feedback, i understand the situation now

*Edit: Primary list updated to be more concise*
