Hi All

can anyone tell me when the next hill climb event is on in or around Brisbane, or if there is an event calendar.. the only one i have heard of is the Mt Cotton Hill Climb but if there are others even better..

For all the information you require the best place is to visit the CAMS website as it outlines on their Qld Calender all events .. but if you check it out you can see which ones are Hillclimbs.

There is a 'come & try' day on Feb 8 at Mt Cotton

There are not many 'non' CAMS hillclimb events like there is with AASA circuit racing events

Qld is very limited to the number of hillclimb tracks available,Mt Cotton is the one most used(check out MG car club of qld website)
Another fantastic hillclimb is Noosa Hillclimb but this has very limited use.
If your not busy this sunday(8Th) Mt Cotton has a come and try day in the morning which is already fully booked ,but in the afternoon (from 12.30pm onwards)it is a practise day for the regular competitors to get there eye in before the hillclimb series starts.I will be going on Sunday with my turbo mk3 gti so if you come up I can talk you through whats necesarary to run in events there.Its a very freindly atmosphere at hillclimb events unlike most circuit motorsports!!!!.
