Hi i wanted to build a gti high comp race engine. I am just wondering where can i buy high performance parts from, like cams or solid lifters and transmission parts. On that note does anyone sell dog boxes?

Which country are you in and buying from?

Well i am in Canada but i will buy parts from any where in the world as i am sure there are limited places. I do have a vintage race mini cooper which all my parts come from the U.K so i am used to buying from abroad.

I have everything you could possibly need and I am around the corner from you. Complete ITB high compression race engine and dog box. Last I checked it's the most powerful NA motor on the dyno page on this forum.

That is an offer I would not refuse given that I know how much work was required to have the 2nd highest HP on the dyno page

Lots for sale on this forum, a few places in Australia to get parts from and some in the USA. There are also a few members in the UK and Canada who have built high performance engines.

there are lots of ways to build an engine you just need to do your homework. For example, you can go buy 600-700 dollar pistons or use honda pistons for a cheaper solution
