Hi I've got a 1.5 swift running a td04 turbo on low boost (for the moment although even at about 6 psi its alot of fun!) i have thought of running a straght through for ultimate sound and performance but i like the sleeper idea...

I have been looking at exhaust cut outs to be able to open it at the track for example, and the rest of the time be running a fairly quite exhaust. I love the idea to be able to get as much out of it as possible when needed just open up the cut out and close when done sounds great!
Something like this

http://m.ebay.com/itm/Hedman-Hedders-16 ... 1251333854

my big question is how can I use a cut out on a single tune setup? Can I?

I am using the emanage blue ecu.

My thinking is if I were to get the car dynoed/tuned with the cut out open then it should run alright when its closed and running back through the more restrictive setup...

Thats not a bad idea YLD80Y, probably wouldnt get as much free flow as if I positioned the exhaust cut out pre cat.. if thats possible with the space ive got (will have to check) but if say I went with the varex idea, even then would I need to re-dyno? And if so should I re dyno whilst the varex is open or closed...

Even if you lopped off the exhaust at the cat it wouldn't need retuning. The ECU could easily compensate.
