Hello
I was wondering what gti head would fit a 97 Cino block.
I'm guessing the mk3 would but would a mk2 also?
The green cino is done for so pulling the motor atm..and all the other bits that work and fit.
I've read on this site the cino blocks can be a good choice as they haven't been flogged as hard,
Cheers:)
btw...To eventually fit into a 94 gti

Mk2 or 3 is basically the same.
Even a Mk1 will bolt up if you use the early manifolds.

Block is same architecture, pistons, rod and crank are different. I've seen some pretty badly treated Cino/Barina G13's just trying to keep up with traffic.
