I have a 1988 Barina that I am trying to access the steering center column nut on, but can't find any screws (Back or front) to undo to remove the stock horn cover. What am I missing?

See attachment.

Thanks

It probably has plastic into rubber plugs, so a good pull on the centre pad should release it or part of it and you go from there.

Why dont they just call it "Womenapause" instead.

+1 for that. You'll need to remove the horn button. On my mk1 I used to gently slip a butter knife under the button to pop the clips in the back of it. They can be a bitof a pain but be gentle as you want to to go back together I'm assuming.

Thanks for the answers, I should have thought of that but I didn't want to break it.
Will give it a go on the weekend when I'm not actually using the car.

Thanks for that, using a blunt knife to pop it off worked perfectly! Very easy after that!

Good to hear! There's usually a trick to most things that once you know it things are simple :)
