Hi all, first time poster.
Just wondering whether 250mm aftermarket (slotted and all) will fit on the front with 2007 Swift calipers/pads? I'm having some trouble finding affordable (for me) aftermarket calipers to go with the upgraded rotors. Ontop of that, will using the newer absolutely necessitate a brake master upgrade as the piston sizes slightly different or will the stock be useable?

Welcome Adam,

while I forget the GTi rotor size off the top of my head (and I can't be bothered searching either) but I do know that the 07 Swift Caliper is a straight up bolt on for the stock GTi setup and doesn't (IMHO) need the master upgraded. But I would definitely get a set of Braided brake lines (stock GTi fittings) to run with them as that makes the pedal plenty solid enough.

The stock rotors are 231mm if im not mistaken, so I assume 250mm with the newer Swift calipers won't work? unless theres about 20mm leeway. Only reason I'm looking to upgrade rotors to is due to the fact mine seem to be warped, otherwise I'd just bolt on some new calipers + better pads.
Thanks, Adam

The standard GTi front rotor is 250mm and the back is 240mm. GA models might have 231mm on front to go with the drum brake rear.

Why dont they just call it "Womenapause" instead.
