Is there a new model front Koni? last time I checked the 86-2588 was internal adjustment only, ie shock had to be fully compressed to engage the rebound adjuster in the foot valve.
EP82 model is very similar but has external adjustment 8641-1214.

To be honest the Tein option is not really a good option for our cars they don't make a direct fit product, striders 'kit' is using honda fronts in the rear and I'm surmising most likely s13 fronts.
I very much doubt they will even be revalved to suit, most likely you'll have to use them on the softest settings.

Sounds like Strider has dug himself a really big hole this time around, from my dealings with him he did deliver eventually but seemed very disorganised and I only had to wait an extra month not 6 or 18 months.

I think a refund would be the best outcome.

I've got striders set on one of my cars..
It handles like its on rails, love em
Why do u reakon they should be set on the softest setting?
Set mine on half way on shock
Took a while to come but they're great

My other swift has hotbits coilovers..
Got the rear coilovers modified so I can adjust the height on the spring
Cost a bit more than striders

Thanks for posting up first hand experience, I'd love to get them on the shock dyno to see if they are any good.
I suggested a soft setting because it's likely the valving is set for a much heavier car, logically you'd be at the softer end of the adjustment scale unless they were revalved to suit our cars.

Had contact with him today. Promises to send all ordered and paid for items within a week including picture of the package and tracking number. He made apologies for the situation, so he gets a second chance. I will keep you updated.

Just stumbled across your threads about goods not turning up. I cant believe some of these delivery times 6mths etc.

If goods are paid for but not being delivered in a timely manner other redliners need to know.

If goods dont arrive in a timely manner => REFUND
Whether the problem is malaysian post/australian post or the seller or my big toe. The buyer must receive an immediate REFUND

If you buy stuff you must receive it within the sellers advised delivery time. Otherwise the seller is in breach of contract. The buyer is entitled to a full refund including freight charges. The agreed delivery time is part of the sale contract.

NSW Government Law
Delays in delivery and non-supply
Consumers are entitled to expect that stated delivery dates are honoured.

The Australian Consumer Law (ACL) states that it is unlawful to make false or misleading representations about the supply or possible supply of consumer goods or services. A supplier must not accept payment for goods or services they do not intend to supply, know they cannot supply or cannot supply in a timely manner.
Goods and services must be supplied in the time specified in the contract, or if a time has not been specified, within a reasonable time after accepting payment.

Therefore:
If the seller cannot ensure delivery then the seller is selling unlawfully.
Reason:
Because the seller is selling goods knowing that supply may not occur in a timely manner. (due to known problems with freight companies)

You guys need to keep this alive until its fully resolved. Otherwise other redliners might get burnt.

He's not a scammer, almost everytime I've ordered something it has arrived, late is better than never, if it hasn't arrived we have organised store credit in which he has always honoured.

Can you promise me it will come within a few weeks?
My customer ain't gonna wait months and I will end up having to refund him if they dont come within a few weeks
