I did offer to get tein coilovers for you.
And probably cheaper too. And warranty is local without the fk around of international warranty bullshit.
Hope strider pulls through for you.
Has he been in contact recently to explain why?

Has been in contact, according to him they are lost in freight. Trying to get a tracking number to find out where they are. He has checked with post Malaysia and they said they have left Malaysia but no update after that.

Yeah he's pretty bad with time..
My coilovers took about 2.5 months
Carbon fibre mirrors got "lost in the mail" had left Malaysia but disappeared after that.. that excuse looks like its getting a little over used man, but he sent me another pair for free (which were prob the same pair he didnt send the first time) but I still got them
So I cant Complain....

Here exactly the same case. A friend of mine (vogelrokker) is waiting on a package with expensive stuff from Strider for 4-5 months now already. Strider did not gave a tracking number at all and says his post office does not give one, while he advertises on ebay that all his packages will have a tracking number. I do not believe Strider has ever send those packages. Easy way to make money though. Hope for my friends that he will send them what they paid for eventually.

Think it's about time strider shows up and explains himself.

Just to let everyone know that tein no longer make coilovers for the gti.
Not sure what coilover strider has customised for it to fit.

But I will be making a few sets of coilovers in the near future.

I will be using the original shock housing with a koni shock insert.
turn them into coilovers by utilizing a threaded coilover sleeve and king spring pro coilover springs.
If I get enough interest (5 people) I should be able to make a front set for $750 providing you supply the old shock.

As for the rears, coilovers aren't possible, so a koni sport shock and custom stiffer sping will suffice.

yeah i've been told 2 weeks now as of Sunday.

1600 the main reason the teins appealed to me was the external damper adjust and the rear shock height and external damper adjust so that would be cool to have if you were making these

I just hope that Strider will give people what they have paid for, or otherwise return them back their money. If that does not happen I think some holidays are going to be spend in Malaysia...

The fronts on the koni's are external damper adjustable.
Rears are adjustable but need to be removed to adjust.
I can get custom shortened shocks if requested.
