Hi!Gti swapped in my samurai and turboed.Having some minor overheating issues.I use an alloy 2core vitara radiator with a spal electric puller, due to lack of space.Timing - hoses-pressure is ok but most of times fan is working.I see that on gtis the coolant flow is constant through heater core back to pump some way.In samurai a have a tap that stops the flow from the head.If i open this heat cooks inside cabin in summer days...
You think i can route-valve a different way to help my radiator-engine to dissipate heat better?

Hi.
So i figure this routing scheme if anyone has something to advise.
Im going to use a heater valve from a Fiat Ducato having 2 inlet-2 outlet ports 16mm and is cable operated:

In combination to a small aluminum heater core

Flow to this radiator will be constant (valve will bypass the oem internal heater core) on summer but extra coolant heat dissipation.
On winter i will have to switch heater to hot(cable selected ) and the valve will bypass the external radiator but extra coolant heat dissipation again.
