its earthing out somewhere. Checkover the wires and at the connections. Does the amp work without the subs hooked up?

I just disconnected the subs and yea the amp was still on. So the solution is to check the earth wire throughout the car and see if its touching anything?

check the power cable and check it hasnt grounded itself onto the chassis. check all the way through from the battery to the amp and make sure that the insulation hasnt frayed or anything. good luck

Something else to check, it might seem obvious, but are you using the right fuse? Maybe your drawing more current than what the fuse is capable of delivering?
A good estimate on what you should be using, is add up all the blade fuses on your amps, and put something a little higher inline your power feed. If you have to upgrade your fuse, make sure your wiring is capable of handling more current than the fuse
8G - 61 amps approx. 4G - 110 amps approx 2G - 200 amsp approx.

I'm using 4G wire. I got a 100 amp circuit breaker off ebay and it seems to be running fine although, can my subs blow or will the fuse always pop before anything?

unplugging your subs from your amp wont turn your amp off? thats just stupid. thats what your remote wire is for... and btw, another thing.. it might not be your amp that is causing your fuse blowing problem.. check where the power source and ground source is going to with your stereo.. if your stereo is going to the same source and if it arcs out, it can cause a fuse blowout. and i know how silly that sounds but it happends all the time.. best thing to do really when you cant find the problem.. is to start again. pull all your wiring out ( like the other guy said ) check for frayed wires and if theyre arching out on the body..
just what i know from experience with hundreds of cars..

just what i know from experience with hundreds of cars.. The remote wire is to turn your amp on when your head unit switches on, namely when you turn the key to acc/on.

You said that when you unplug the sub your amp should turn off. That's not true, you can unplug the sub and the amp will stay on. The remote wire is different.

Re read what you wrote cause either that's really shitty grammar, you shouldn't have put a question mark on the end, or you said it.

Probably has something do do with the fact that so many "sick" kids that have no concept of sentence construction have flooded the forum, confusing the f**k out of everyone with their piss poor ability to type in English.

hahaha are you fucking kidding me? BRO! i have read over many posts in this forum, and 99% of the people that post on here.. pick up on your grammar as if you were in the 7th grade. If i wanted a tutor i would go back to school. And for your infoferfuckamation im not one of those "sick" kids that you claim sarcastically. You all need to chill, and re-read things before you answer. Not everyones perfect.

No, I'm most definately not kidding. It's actually quite frustrating trying to read the majority of the newer members post's. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3873Namely this portion, Quote: In the body of your message, please use complete sentences and words, and make sure proper spelling and punctuation is observed. DO NOT USE SMS LINGO. This is the most important part of how you appear to others on the forum, and you will get a lot more respect from users if you take the time to write your posts correctly. seems to get missed by the majority of new members. It's kinda shitfull when alot of the posts made on here make no sense, if very difficult and extremely frustrating when you come on here knowing a fair bit about these cars and the problems that occur with them and you like to help people out. Alot of people miss out on getting helped out because their posts make everyone as confused as a nun in a brothel. Oh and I'm not your bro, nor do I want to be. Check your all your wire harnesses for chaffing. usually a popped fuse is a damaged wire that is touching the frame.
