Hey Guy,

Just bought an entry level fusion amp and sub package.

The amp is a 2 channel amp, but since i have no use for the other channel, i want to run the sub using the bridged channel.

Problem is that when bridged, there is no bass output from the sub. However if I run the sub in either of the channel. It works fine.

Any suggestions?

Pretty sure amp is brigable as it says mono on the first and last terminal. Also there is only one RCA input

2ch only needs one set of RCA's.

Is there anything on the amp that needs to be flicked over for it to be bridgeable. post a link to the manufacturers website with that product so we can have a read.

try increase the size of the wire between amp and sub I been looking for a good pic online of this thing and it aint easy to find one.

alsomake sure your amp is on LP (low pass) coz you don't wanna send high stuff thru ur sub

hmmmm.

is the sub a single voice coil 4 ohm or dual 4 ohm coz the amp can be only bridged at 4 ohm by the look of it.

If you have installed it correctly there should not be a problem with that pack as it's meant to work together I'd be inclined to take it back to where you bought it and get them to try a new amp as this one doesn't seem to work the way it should.

Also check your fuses and also make sure when you bridged the terminals that you got a positive (+) and negative (-) because you have no idea how many times I have seen an amp with 2 positives or 2 negatives plugged into.

But I'm not sure without really physically looking at it what else it could be.

Hey,
Went backto the store where i bought the system. After much trying to test everything, it was the actual RCA.

They replaced the RCA and it was all fine. Never expected that the new cable would cause this problem.

But thanks to all you guys for providing advice. :)
