I think you're spot on, that is how the ABS detects with rotational motion of each wheel

My guess is that the ABS with now be non-functional

Not that much of an issue if you know about it and drive (more importantly brake) accordingly

Re: Baleno G13 box & G16 gearboxs - differences

I'm planning on doing this for my Baleno you're better off changing the whole gearset as 1st, 3rd, 4th & 5th are different. Also, don't forget to upgrade the 5th gear plate bolts, all factory originals in the baleno boxes are rubbish. Suzuki replacements are ok if you're not going for big power....

Please bear in mind that the bearings in the hubs are not servicable, so ...

Re: Do you pass emissions test with headers installed?

i'd recommend getting your manifold made such that you can add and remove the CAT for MOT, same for the exhaust CAT, you'll struggle to pass without them. Something else to be wary of is how loud your exhaust is. Unlike motorcycles, which have a db level to meet, car exhaust noise is at the testers ...

the gsr has a rear swaybar

You are limited to how much larger you can go because of the factory mounting points

The non-OE kits have larger bar sizes available

i think what everyone is getting at is that you need to find out what facilities are available to you (i.e. Dyno) and what products are they comfortable using.
