Those marks, inside the pump housing I see those all the time on used oil pumps. Basically the drag/scuff marks will be found on face of rotor/housing but never on outside edge I’m not so sure your diagnosis about thrust is spot on, to me that appears more like contaminated (aged engine) oil wearing...

It’s brown, and it’s the evap canister control unit, only needed for emissions.
The pcv is a good thing, but if you’ve got a vent to atmosphere catch can you don’t need it, crankcase ventilation is important, however you do it

From a tunability perspective, the G13B is far simpler than adapting an m series.
Main journal diameters are different between m13 and m16 engines, in case you’d thought you could do a stroker conversion later.

Less than a compression point, you'd change that tolerance after a year of use just from carbon build up on piston crown :!: Better switch to nitro meth to keep it surgically clean

The genuine MLS they list on eBay is the APV part, the part number however is a Ruse. You order gasket number 11141-86502 and you'll get a factory graphite gasket. That's the Suzuki sport lip kit and flares that were made for Mk3 models.

I've worked in wreckers for many years, that breakage in your oil pump is the first I've seen, must been a freak accident/failure.
A G16 oil pump on a G13 isn't a bad investment, extra volume circulating

Suzuki Aerio, 2.0L and 2.3L had a variant of the fwd (large frame gearset) box similar to the J18 box found in Baleno models here, so if you're hunting in the USA, that would be your easiest find
