Re: My Latest Suzuki Purchase

Ha ha yea I was originally going for the Suzuki Intruder which is a bad ass cruiser but a bit pricey for my budget at the moment. I found the Inazuma to have the best features for the price/class and being Suzuki my mind was made up. The very next day some bloke came in wanting to buy the one I put ...

Re: What do I need to swap G13BA for G13B?

You will also want the dual core radiator from the GTi. Standard Swift Rad is single core. The bottom radiator mount sits lower on standard swift (or the mount itself could be different, can't remember) which can create a gap between radiator and mount. Either move the mount up or just put some soft...

It uses a timing belt, typical interval is every 100,000 kms if I recall. You may as well do the water pump ect at the same time. Go to a super cheap auto and look up one of the catalogues you can get the part no. you need. Bosch and Gates sell replacement timing belts but you may need to get it ord...

The Swift/Cino/Xtreme were also the Single Cam Carby and were still sold post 1994 onwards. My understanding was that all G13BA were carby. I had a 95 Cino with the carby. I thought only the GTi got fuel injection as far as Swifts were concerned. I think the G13A was used in the Swift GA and was the...

It's good to see the fire is still in the belly around Redline as it was getting disturbingly quiet in the General Discussion Forum. Peak power isn't everything anyway but too bad that's what everyone focus on after a dyno run printout. Top Gun, Bosch ect should all be fine. They are going to do bugger all for your performance so whatever you get just make sure it's of durable quality and has good connectors that won't loosen off of their own accord. You may also want to consider your engine bay's colour scheme if relevant to you.

Isn't clear from your post but are you wanting to convert the carby G13BA that sits in your Cino into the twin cam G13B? From my recollection the block of the G13BA & G13B are identical. Obviously the heads are completely different. Would be much easier just to transplant the entire G13B into th...

The big gap in ratio's between first and second gear means the second gear syncro cops a beating so is often the first to go. Either drive more sedately or get a heavier duty gear box. Something to look out for.
