they are just cosmetic mouldings , if you have water leaking in there are other issues , the glass is sealed in by a sikaflex type sealant .. Yikes. Can probably get away without the upper moulding as it has been protected from the weather by the rear spoiler as well as being hidden for the most part. Knew it wouldn't be cheap though if any of the other mouldings were anything to go by! Need to do something before the weather changes thou...

I know there's only so much you can do to protect our little cars, but that's exactly why I don't park mine out on the street anymore. I was the victim of a hit and run (luckily not as hard and the damage was mostly confined to the drivers door) and then later had my rear windows randomly smashed on...

Hands up anyone who has never sped up approaching a set of lights that just turned amber in case there is a red light camera at the intersection? You usually don't speed up by much but 5-10Kph over and you may now get booked for speeding whilst trying to avoid a red light camera because you are too...

I was recently in Thailand and they have another way of doing things. At major intersections, they have an LED countdown timer attached to the traffic lights that lets you know how long in seconds it is till the light changes to either green or red. Just as an FYI, I believe they later wrote something that the tests they performed may be irrelevant. Something about the test being better suited to diff and gearbox oils, which they did not know at the time.
