Re: New fuel pump, now needs 2 primes to start

Usually when the sound changes halfway through, (sounds like it is struggling) then it usually means it is at pressure. If the pump does not prime fully to start with, then the pressure is bleeding out of the line somewhere and either leaking out or going back to the tank.

Re: Can I fit these rims to my IS?

Unlikely. The best information I could find tells me that your rims should have an offset of about +45 with 14" and standard. Going to a 0 offset will pull the wheels in toward the brake rotor, which will cause scrubbing at full lock. You are best to get under the car, measure the clearance you...

Unless you have a pressure gauge fitted to the fuel line, how do you know it needs to do it twice to prime "completely"?

Hole locations should be similar. Might be worth getting someone one modify the ports if nedded rather than source a legit one. Otherwise any decent radiator shop should be able to make one for you as long as you have the original.

Re: Changing gear ratio, how much it affects the speedo?

Speedo will be 5-10km off gps, which is a more accurate measure of speed, distance over time.
Speedo will be off by a larger margin, the faster you go.

Changing final drive will not help. What do you want to achieve with the speedo reading, accuracy?

The Cino is the Suzuki Swift in Aus. Just go by the model code, that is the easiest route. I have a SA413 Model AA33S and I eventually found a manual for that. Depends if you want the user manual or the repair manual. Those are the closest you will get, along with some more info on here in the forums.
