That was a few years ago now and my crappy paintjob is showing through hahah. Im not happy with it but still 1 million times better than when I got the car. It will need re doing in future some time. So hopefully its not as far away as I predict it will be.

Spotted a dark redish GTI out the back of a pub in Laidley QLD today wondering if it was anyone here? Number Plate was EVL.92 and had a big chip torque sticker on rear window.

Looking SWEET! you should totally drop a little low boost turbo charged gti engine into this thing...it would be so awesome haha ultimate sleeper. then again you would lose the historic/collectors classification Thanks man. Thats a good price! I recently a rough quote from a local business and it was gonna be $450 a seat. I will be learning to do my own as my mother inlaw and her ex had an auto trimming business yrs ago and is happy to teach me. It will be a while till i get to that though.

Been a while since any sort of update and not much to report really. The plans I have for poop now are very simple. I will be joining a local vintage car club and after the mrs and I go on holiday next month, poop will be getting historical/ classic rego and only used for club meets and service runs...

how much difference will that make on your steering? I realize it will be firmer but how will it effect lock to lock distance? Will it slow you down more for tight cornering than what power steer would or do you think it shouldn't make that much of a difference?
