If anyone has worked on an M series they will know the thermostat is in the worst spot know to man (at the back of the water pump) Oh yes! I replaced the thermostat and radiator. I had the exact same problem with mine. Its a pain in the ass trying to get the oil lines on when its in place behind the turbo!

I have a cylinder from an M18 engine I bought from Dave. It needs new valves but the guys doing the head say that don't have anything listed for it aftermarket. I tried a Suzuki dealer but they won't do anything without a chassis number. It could be that the valves used are not genuine but oversize....

The Swift cylinder heads have 31mm buckets with the shims sitting on top of the bucket. They have been known to spit shims out over 7,000rpm, as happened with my car. Toyota and Mazda (Mazda 2 I believe) have the same size cam buckets but with the shim under the bucket. No chance of spitting it out ...

Put in sandwich plate and relocate filter. This will allow an oil pickup from the sandwich plate and also the connections for oil cooler and or accumulator if so desired in future. This is what I did. I have an oil filter relocation plate and moved the oil filter on to a bracket on the drivers side...

I have 2 sets of Swift Sport discs and callipers, both sets used.

One set has slotted rotors and DS2500 pads (almost new), the other set standard rotors and standard pads.

I am in Perth which may save you some freight if anyone is interested over here.

I used to work at Auto One Balcatta and they have a huge range of suppliers. I checked with them and they said they didnt have a listing. But maybe they just werent trying hard enough! lol

They also said they dont have a listing for the fronts.

There are a couple of guys here in Perth who race in the Improved Production class and they tried it. The advantage was that you dont spread coolant all over the track when you have an accident or split hose. Disadvantage was that both cars ran considerably hotter than with coolant and Water Wetter.
