If it is a rust free MK11, you could ask a premium, but unless you intend using that roll cage for its purpose, spending more money and time on it is fruitless. Build and use it or sell to someone who will.

Bleeding the air out in oil first is a good idea. They shouldn't get hard as both oil passages are open. They only get hard for operation when in situ as the oil passages in the head are staggered.

You will need to replace the dash loom and the engine loom including the fuse/relay box. It is easier to remove the dash carcas completely to achieve this as it lets you get to everything.

The wiring harnesses are different, so a new one could be made/adapted. Have to replace the upper bumper at least and depending on your regulations extra lights for reversing placed in lower section, or replaced the lower bumper as well. Some bracketry will need to be changed but is all doable and b...

Standard impedance for injectors is low, if you have changed to high impedance injectors it will require higher current and injection timing will suffer. If you have standard low impedance injectors have you checked any error codes on ECU. Do you have a Workshop Manual to refer to?

If for a GTi that is on the bottom side as most are 180 -230, but as long as they are consistent and within 10% its not a problem.

Re: Stripped G13B head bolt - best way to remove it?

Thats exactly the way to do it but you will not need big grips as it will probably undo by hand. Change to better bolts whilst you are at it. It will not hurt the head to drill bolt as it has the washer under head and as it gets near it will pop clear. Will need to check carefully for swarf but you ...

It looks like the same basic shell so the gti parts should be a str8 swap. Not sure about the wiring loom for the engine ECU to run it but I would imagine the all the undercarriage can be swapped. Would be nice to have photos in and out to compare your model.

From memory there is two security bolts installed which have no means of traction for removal. If you get 1mm cutoff wheel and cut slots in them you may be able to extract them with screwdriver. That's how I did it. Just a suggestion.
