YLD . BOY listen man im not here to disappoint any one or make them have a bad day man seriously or to be a smarts ass, ? and i did say that was what i was supplied with wasnt I. And by the way, the suzuki dealership at coloundra offers these kits aswell, well has them as option then sends of to the guy or what ever.. Give them a call if you like.

My point was that if you're going to defend a uneducated guess at a power figure, at least use credible facts - not a graph plotted in Excel. Those figures could be invented by anyone.

Of course I was also being a severe smart arse, because if I took half the stuff posted here seriously my head would spin like a top and then explode!

LOL @ YLD80Y

There are soooooo many variables to take into consideration when converting a non turbo engine to turbo. Without doing it yourself, or knowing someone who has done it, you cannot make a substantial claim! I dont care if you/they have produced dyno readings of a M15a engine. the fact that the sport has 30hp extra does not necessarily equate to 30 more hp when turboing one.

for a start, different dyno's give different readings. also, where did that dyno reading originate? what country? what fuel was it running? what are their laws regarding pollution laws?

Basically, if this thread continues, its flogging a dead horse, really... the only person who can comment on this and have some sort of credibility with his words is DMWDave, because he has done it here.

'Nuff said.

I think its time for everyone to get over it. Its ok to take the piss out of the situation *looks at YLD80Y peeing my pants with laughter* but its just getting way outa hand.

Boban made a comment based on a generalisation that cant be proved....yet. But enough is enough guys. Stop being condescending.

Being a moderator doesn't affect my sense of humour, and I certainly laughed when I saw the "dyno sheet" that was given to you.

That being said I owe you an apology. The joke wasn't directed at you, but rather any company that would sell their product based on a fictitious dyno sheet.
I do feel sorry for the people that fall for these kind of things.

To anyone who saw the lighter side of my own graph, I'm glad you got the joke. :P

yeah, there have been hold ups, but on both sides. on their side, they have an issue with the wiring harness which is to be finished this week (fingers crossed, but i aint holding my breath) and on my side, my partners car was out of action due to a blonde bimbo who can't drive, leaving us with only 1 car between us

3 months is still a long time for a car not to be ready with only bolt on mods

Mr Focus -The wireing for the Emanage is approx two hrs work, if they cant figure that out I would start worrying about how they are going to tune it!!.They have obviously never fitted one before and you are the mug who has to cop their incompetance.

Just out of interest how is the chinese kit going now Mr Focus? I am interested in installing a kit myself in 1 or 2 years time after the warranty runs out on my car :)

Dont know if i should post this info here, but as this is pretty much the longest turbo related thread I am hoping more people will read this. Regarding the zage turbos, I've found info on turbos made by the same company Zage, on http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44654. It would seem that some of those turbo exploded. Read on to find out more. That leads on to more info here :http://www.dsmtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131159. To those that are thinking of turbocharging the swift, read and decide whether you would risk your car for this taiwanese turbo... as for me, if I decide to turbo my swift I would knock on Dave's door :D

By the way dave, where is your shop?
