It was good day with plenty to see  . Just sorry couldn't stay longer to see Dave's 2nd run(hope it went well).

Also great to finally meet some other Redline members. And also good luck for tommorow Dave.

Cheers

Yeah i was a good day overall. pretty bloody windy and the chick (slutz) were out as usual. so much to see and do good to see some good time from the gti's well done boys. proud of you!

not so good to see one of the mx3 in the all motor section have a massive crash. luck for him he walked away it was crazy. especially being in the grand stand while everyone jumped to their feet when the guy started flipping and rolled down the end.

all round a good time for all. good to see some of the young kids running around getting all the gilr to sign their skin with niko and sh*t. lol @ horny little brats!

take it easy boyz.

boolah

Hi,
Jamboree was a great event (again),plenty of good sorts, good racing (five new national records where broken),and all the swifts went well!! .
I was hoping to get a ten sec run but just missed out,It ended up about the best outcome I could have wished for, because if I had run under 10.99 then the car would be tech inspected and a whole lot of changes required before I am allowed to run again!,the way it is now,I ran 11.086@130.17mph,I won the front runner class (although there wasnt much competition in the class)and set a new national record for the ET and the mph, plus I am still allowed to run the car without the tech inspection. The car was approx 50hp down on the dyno so once I get to the bottom of that problem, plus fit some bigger injectors so I can run more boost the car should easily dip into the tens.
The other guys can add there jambo stories but a breif overview is:-
puss on boost did a personel best of 13.8sec and today drives the car home in one peice!!!!(thats a pretty tall ask for any car)and dan got through to the semis ,but had a boost problem that knocked him out.
Altogether a great weekend ,thanks to all the redliners who came over ,for there support.
dave

Well done to all =D>

Big congrats Dave on your 11:08 - it is a bit of a worry if you do go into the 10's that you have to do so much work.

Awesome work from Ben and Dan - it's a great personal best there Ben you nearly got your goal (.05 out)

And shame to see you go out in the semi's Zuboo.

Still a good outing and showing of GTi's strenghts!
